Hello FOB's (Friends of Bob!)
Bob is doing well, flat on his back through this coming Sunday!! No NASCAR races this weekend!!
On Sunday morning, the plastic surgeon will remove the skin graft bandages and the wound vac "gizmo" to make sure the graft took. If yes, we'll start making plans for his homecoming. If not, well, no sense thinking negatively. Positive thoughts have worked thus far and we're not going to change course at this juncture.
That's it!! How nice to write (and for you to read) something short and sweet.

ReplyDeleteIt's me again. Ol' Billy Boy is as smart as I thought! Not really a surprise, but anyone who can help me learn about technology is some sort of special. I just had a long chat with Bill and made him promise that when you are up and well enough to take a ride, you'll come see us. I was thinking that if the trek is too much for one ride, you could check in at the Hicks B&B in Menifee for a night! We are waiting tocome visit you when you are a little stronger. The truth is that you have too darn many people who love Shelley (and you) that we all clog up the system. This blog is the best thing that Bill could have done for all of us.
Who knew I would one day go the internet to get the latest info about Bob Freeman! It's difficult to just write to you because there are so many things that are inappropriate to say, reference, or even to allude to...I'm not sure why that surprises me because after all you are, for better or worse, my friend and best man.
