Dear Friends,
Bob's passing is just days away, perhaps sooner, but in any event, it is imminent. We've all been keeping a vigil with him, sharing the blessing of helping him pass through to the other side.
When it happens, we will call as many folks as we can, but we will also post the info on the blog. We will also have notices in the San Bernardino Sun and Fontana Herald News newspapers. The Herald is only published once a week however, so we hope to get the word out through The Sun, the blog, e-mails, phone calls and his friends calling others, especially since school is out for summer break. Please feel free to forward this information to anyone whom you think would appreciate it, especially A.B. Miller staff, other FUSD employees and former students, as well as other friends, colleagues (both current and former) and acquaintances. Our e-mail list is rather limited.
Again, thanks to all of you for your continuing love, support and prayers.

The love of family and friends are with you all. It is so hard to find the right words at a time like this so we will simply just say thank you Bob-O for your friendship and incredible sense of humor and the opportunity to know you. ReplyDeleteJamie, the boys and I want to tell you how much we care about you and your family. Since the day we moved from California to Arizona, we have missed our great times at Dave's and at the Races.
We want to thank you for the great times we had, your kindness, friendship and your great big heart. You are the kind of man, father, educator and friend that every man aspires to become. However, most will fall short. God threw away the mold soon after putting you on this earth. You have made a difference in many peoples lives including me. I one day hope to just get close to being the kind of person you are.
You will be missed greatly by ALL. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. Until we meet again my FRIEND. God Bless You!

To our dear friend: Bob, you are in our thoughts and prayers daily. We have always valued your frendship thoughtfulness, and kindness over the years. As a fellow educator, I always respected your dedication to the profession, and was always impressed with how you were able to impact the lives and direction of so many of your students. The kids truly loved and respected you. Thank you for all the fun times we shared, and your great sense of humor. You will never be forgotten. You arfe indeed special. We will see you again one day.
